Clippers defeat NBA-leading Suns 113-109 to seal 3rd straight win

Norman Powell leads Clippers with 24 points, Paul George finishes with 19 points

ANKARA (AA) - Los Angeles Clippers sealed a 113-109 win over the NBA-leading Phoenix Suns late Wednesday.

Norman Powell led the Clippers with 24 points, while Paul George finished with 19 points.

Ivica Zubac recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers.

Ish Wainwright added a career-high 20 points, Aaron Holiday scored 16 points and Bismack Biyombo finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds for the losing side.

Having already clinched the Western Conference top spot, the Suns have a 63-17 win/loss record.

After securing the third straight win, the Clippers are ranked eighth with 40 wins and 40 losses.
