COVID-19: Kenya reports 810 new cases, 8 fatalities
Total number of cases in country rises to 79,322, death toll reaches 1,417
ANKARA (AA) - Kenya reported 810 new coronavirus cases and eight fatalities over the past 24 hours, the country’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
The total number of cases in the country rose to 79,322, while the death toll reached 1,417.
As many as 265 virus patients recovered over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 52,974, the ministry said.
As many as 855,403 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Wednesday’s positive cases include 792 Kenyans and 18 foreigners, the ministry said.
