EU records monthly rise in industrial production in November 2021

Industrial production in EU jumped 2.5% compared with October 2021, according to Eurostat data

ANKARA (AA) – Industrial production in the European Union increased by 2.5% on a monthly basis in November 2021, according to figures released by the bloc’s statistical authority on Wednesday.

In October 2021, industrial production in the EU fell by 0.8%, Eurostat data showed.

In November, production of non-durable consumer goods rose by 3%, capital goods by 2.3%, intermediate goods by 1.4%, energy by 0.9%, and durable consumer goods by 0.1%.

The largest monthly increases were seen in Ireland (+37.3%), Poland (+5.9%) and the Czech Republic (+4.8%), while the highest decreases were in Belgium (-4.4%), Malta (-3.7%) and Luxembourg (-2.3%).

According to Eurostat, industrial production remained unchanged in the EU on an annual basis in November 2021.
