EU-Ukraine summit set for Feb. 23

BRUSSELS (AA) - An EU-Ukraine summit will be held on Feb. 3, 2023, an EU spokesman said on Thursday.

Barend Leyts, the spokesman for the president of the European Council, told reporters that an open invitation was sent to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to visit Brussels.

He said that the venue of the summit has not been decided yet.

Meanwhile, no response has yet been given concerning the invitation from the Ukrainian side.

European Council President Charles Michel and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will represent the EU at the summit.
