Cristiano Ronaldo penalty hits post as Austria get point

ANKARA (AA) - Cristiano Ronaldo missed a late penalty as Austria held Portugal to a 0-0 draw Saturday night.

The Portuguese, who has had the most shots of any player in Euro 2016, saw his effort bounce off the post in the 78th minute and had a headed goal disallowed for offside minutes later.

Austrian keeper Robert Almer made a number of crucial saves at the Parc des Princes in Paris to give his side a point at the bottom of Group F. It was Portugal’s second draw after they were held by Iceland in the first match.
