EuroLeague: Maccabi FOX beat Fenerbahce Beko

ANKARA (AA) - Fenerbahce Beko lost to Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game Friday.

Othello Hunter hit the game winner for the Israeli team with 2.6 second left for the 78-77 win in a hard-fought match at the Ulker Sports Arena.

Hunter and Deni Avdija were the high scorers for Maccabi FOX, each with 13 points against Fenerbahce in the Round 24 game. Aaron Jackson scored 12 points.

Derrick Williams led all scores with 22 points for Fenerbahce. Nikola Kalinic and Kostas Sloukas each had 18 in the losing effort for the Turkish team.

Maccabi FOX ended Fenerbahce’s three-game winning streak and improves to 16 - 8 in fifth place.

The Yellow Canaries fall to 11 - 13 in ninth place.
