Europa League: Besiktas beat Torshavn 2-0
Jeremain Lens and Gokhan Gonul's goals in first half give Besiktas 2-0 lead going in to second leg

ANKARA (AA) - Besiktas have defeated Faroese club B36 Torshavn 2-0 on Thursday evening in UEFA Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round first leg match.
Besiktas found the first goal in the 8th minute with Dutch winger Jeremain Lens, who used an opening just inside the penalty area and had a powerful shot to the top left.
In the 26th minute, Besiktas increased its lead to 2-0 thanks to a tap in goal by Gokhan Gonul after a low corner cross.
Besiktas got the advantage with 2-0 win going into the second leg match, which is set for Aug. 6 at the Istanbul Vodafone Park.
