Europa League draws for last 8, semis unveiled

ANKARA (AA) – The draws for the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals and semifinals were done on Friday.

Medipol Basaksehir will face the winner of LASK-Manchester United match if the Turkish football club makes it to the Europa League quarterfinals.

However Basaksehir should first eliminate their Danish opponents Copenhagen in the round of 16 to advance to the last eight stage.

The Istanbul team won the first match against Copenhagen 1-0 at home.

- Quarterfinals in Europa League:

Wolverhampton-Olympiacos vs Roma-Sevilla

Shakhtar Donetsk-Wolfsburg vs Basel-Eintracht Frankfurt

Inter Milan-Getafe vs Bayer Leverkusen-Glasgow Rangers

Manchester United-LASK vs Copenhagen-Medipol Basaksehir

- Semifinals draw:

(Wolverhampton - Olympiacos) - (Roma - Sevilla) vs (Manchester United - LASK) - (Copenhagen - Medipol Basaksehir)

(Inter Milan - Getafe) - (Bayer Leverkusen - Glasgow Rangers) vs (Shakhtar Donetsk - Wolfsburg) - (Basel - Eintracht Frankfurt)

- Road to final

Having paused by coronavirus pandemic, the Europa League will resume with the round of 16 second leg matches on Aug. 5-6.

Germany will host the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final.

Quarterfinals will be held on Aug. 10-11 and semis will be played on Aug. 16-17.

On Aug. 21, the 2020 Europa League final will be held at Stadion Koln in Cologne.
