European markets close mostly lower despite industrial output rises
Germany's DAX 30 performs worst, plummeting 1.08%

ANKARA (AA) - European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday, despite industrial production showing an increase on an annual basis.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 3.97, or 0.84%, to 469.56 points.
London's FTSE 100 lost 12 points, or 0.18%, to end at 7,218, while France's CAC 40 was off 47 points, or 0.69%, to 6,895.
Germany's DAX 30 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 168 points, or 1.08%, to 15,453.
Italy's FTSE MIB 30, on the other hand, gained 5 points, or 0.02%, to end the day at 26,556.
Spain's IBEX 35 also climbed 55 points, or 0.67%, to close at 8,378.
Eurozone industrial production rose 3.3% on an annual basis in October, according to figures released by the EU’s statistical authority earlier Tuesday.
Industrial production in the EU27 was also up 3.6% year-on-year, Eurostat data showed.
