European markets close Tuesday up

Except for Spain's IBEX 35, all European indices close day with gains

ISTANBUL (AA) - Major European indices closed the second transaction day of the week with gains.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, on Tuesday earned 2.83 points, or 0.68%, to close at 420.29.

The UK’s FTSE 100 index was up by 26.64 points or 0.37% to 7,243 points at close.

Germany’s DAX 30 rose by 1.15%, or 154.07 points, to 13,534, while France’s CAC 40 increased by 0.51%, or 30.89 points, to 6,116.

Italy’s FTSE MIB was up 237.22 points, or 1.04%, to end the day at 23,069, while Spain’s IBEX 35 closed the day without change at 8,139 points.

Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul closed on Tuesday with gains, up 0.99% to 2,490.17 points.
