European markets close week with gains
Spain’s IBEX 35 increases most among major European indices

ISTANBUL (AA) – All European stock markets ended the week with gains after they closed Thursday in the red side.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 2.48 points, or 0.54%, to close at 458.34.
The UK’s FTSE 100 index ended at 7,537 points, up 22.22 points, or 0.30%.
Germany’s DAX 30 was up 0.22%, or 31.73 points, to 14,446, while France’s CAC 40 increased 0.37%, or by 24.44 points, to 6,684.
Italy’s FTSE MIB soared 142.04 points, or 0.57%, to end the day at 25,163, while Spain’s IBEX 35 earned 58.6 points, or 0.69%, to close at 8,503 points.
Turkiye’s benchmark stock index was up 0.82% to end Friday at 2,230.35 points.
Asian stocks ended mixed on Friday amid concerns over inflation and the Russia-Ukraine war.
