European stock markets close mixed

ANKARA (AA) - European stock markets closed mixed on Wednesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 2.37 points, or 0.57%, to finish at 412.01.

The UK's FTSE 100 declined 62 points, or 0.86%, to end the day at 7,237.

Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, rose 44 points, or 0.35%, to close at 12,915.

France's CAC 40 added just 1.31 points, or 0.02%, to finish flat at 6,105.

Italy's FTSE MIB rose 8.75 points, or 0.04%, to 21,489. Spain's IBEX 35 increased 13 points, or 0.17%, to 7,855 at the closing bell.
