European stocks close lower after missile explosion in Poland
Spain’s IBEX 35 performs worst, shedding 1.06%

ANKARA (AA) - European stocks closed lower Wednesday in the aftermath of a missile explosion in Poland.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 4.29 points, or 1%, at 430.15.
The UK’s FTSE 100 declined 18 points, or 0.25%, to close at 7,351.
Germany’s DAX 30 fell 144 points, or 1%, to finish the third trading day of the week at 14,234.
France’s CAC 40 lost 34 points, or 0.52%, to end at 6,607 while Italy’s FTSE MIB was off 168 points, or 0.68%, to 24,531.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, shedding 87 points, or 1.06%, to 8,101.
