EU's retail trade volume up nearly 8% in November

ANKARA (AA) - Retail trade volume in the EU grew 7.9% year-on-year in November, the bloc's statistical office said on Friday.

The figure rose 17.5% for automotive fuels and 11.7% for non-food products.

The greatest yearly increases in total retail trade volume were in Slovenia (41.1%), France (22.7%) and Poland (14.5%), while the steepest declines were in Latvia (minus 3.6%), Germany (minus 2.8%) and Finland (minus 1.9%).

On a month-on-month basis, retail trade in the bloc increased by 0.9% in November.
