Expat Turkish scientists to convene in Istanbul

The sixth edition of the meeting slated for May 5, 6

ISTANBUL (AA) - Accomplished Turkish scientists working abroad are set to gather in an Istanbul meeting in May, a Turkish science association said Wednesday.

The meeting, "THY Ambassadors of Science Summit", is hosted by Turkey's Association of Science Ambassadors and it is sponsored by the Turkish Airlines, Turkey's national air carrier.

The sixth edition of the meeting is slated for May 5 and 6 at Istanbul's Ozyegin University.

It is bringing together Turkish scientists working in diverse countries such as Germany, U.S., Australia, France, the Netherlands, England, Switzerland, Japan, Canada, South Korea, and Singapore.

The summit's theme this year is "promoting science and creating a scientific climate".
