Fearless cat caught on camera scaring off stray dog

ESKISEHIR, Turkey (AA) - Caught on camera, a fearless feline's defense against a stray dog caught many curious eyes in central Turkey on Wednesday.

A cat idling on a sidewalk in the Ertugrul Gazi district of the Eskisehir province was cornered by a stray dog. But the cat would not allow itself to be intimidated by the canine, and put up a bracing defense.

The incident, which was caught on camera by Anadolu Agency, drew the attention of many bystanders, either in wonderment or admiration.

Unable to cow the courageous cat, the dog gave up and walked away, presumably to find an easier target.
