Fenerbahce look to overturn Europa League 1st leg loss

ANKARA (AA) - Six teams face each other on Wednesday night in the Europa League’s Round of 32, including Turkey’s Fenerbahce, who are seeking to overturn a one-goal deficit to FC Krasnodar of Russia.

The return leg is being played at the Istanbul club’s Sukru Saracoglu ground as Fenerbahce look to progress to the last 16 of the competition.

Also on Wednesday night, Schalke 04 host Greece’s PAOK, with the German side nurturing a 0-3 advantage from their earlier away fixture, and Saint-Etienne face Manchester United, who travel to France hoping to defend a 3-0 lead from the first leg.

The bulk of the second leg games take place on Thursday evening, when Ankara’s Osmanlispor and Istanbul’s Besiktas represent Turkey.

Osmanlispor -- participating in the contest for the first time -- drew 0-0 away at Olympiacos last week while Besiktas, who dropped down into the competition from the Champions League, welcome Hapoel Be’er Sheva, who they beat 1-3 in Israel.
