Fenerbahce remain top of table after beating Hatayspor

ANKARA (AA) - Fenerbahce stayed atop the Turkish Super Lig after sealing a 2-1 narrow win over Atakas Hatayspor on Tuesday.

Mame Thiam scored the opener for the away side in the 26th minute, while Jean-Claude Billong's own goal doubled Fenerbahce's lead in the 88th minute.

The game ended 2-1 after Hatayspor's Aaron Boupendza found the net in the 89th minute.

Mesut Ozil made his debut for Fenerbahce after he subbed on in the 76th minute.

Fenerbahce have 48 points, while Hatayspor rank 7th with 35 points.
