Football: Basaksehir, Trabzonspor win in Turkish Cup

ANKARA (AA) - Football continued in Turkey on Thursday with five matches in the Ziraat Turkish Cup, as five Super Lig teams took on low-tier opponents in the first leg of the 5th Round.

Basaksehir defeated Kahramanmarasspor on the latters' home turf by a score of 3-1, gaining advantage going into the second leg.

Mevlut Erdinc, Irfan Can Kahveci, and Stefano Napoleoni all scored for Basaksehir, while Kahramanmarasspor got a goal courtesy of Yakup Ramazan Zorlu.

Trabzonspor defeated BB Erzurumspor with a score of 4-0 in the city of Erzurum. Hugo Rodallega was big asset for Trabzon, as he scored a hat-trick. Olcay Sahan also added one goal in the victory.
