Football: Bayern Munich takes on Arsenal in UEFA CL

ANKARA (AA) - Germany's Bayern Munich will take on England's Arsenal in Round of 16 in UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening in Munich.

Europe's biggest club competition will continue with Munich side looking to continue their record streak of 15 home victories in a row, while 'Gunners' are eyeing to break their round of 16 hoodoo after losing six consecutive years at the stage.

The match will kick off at 20:45 local time (1945 GMT).

Bayern Munich had previously eliminated Arsenal in the Round of 16 in the Champions League match-ups in 2005, in 2013 and in 2014.

The German side reached the quarterfinals of the tournament five years in a row.

In another Round of 16 match-up, cup holders Real Madrid will square off against Italian Napoli, the match in Madrid Santiago Bernabéu stadium will start at 20:45 local time (1945 GMT).

Real Madrid will look to advance to the quarterfinals for the seventh year in a row, while Napoli, who are unbeaten in 18 matches in all competitions, will look to gain advantage in Spain.

In Tuesday's match-up, Paris Saint-Germain crushed Barcelona with a 4-0 score, managed to hold a massive advantage going into the second leg.

Paris Saint-Germain's goals came from Argentinian flamboyant winger Angel Di Maria (2), German youngster Julian Draxler and Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani.

- Benfica hold on against Dortmund

Another match-up in Tuesday saw Benfica defending their home turf to beat Borussia Dortmund 1-0.

Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou scored the winning goal for his team as Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed a penalty.
