Football: Bestiktas to play B36 Torshavn

ANKARA (AA) - Besiktas will take on the Faroese club B36 Torshavn in their UEFA Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round late Thursday.

The first leg will take place in Faroe Islands at 9 p.m. local time (2000GMT).

The second leg is set for Aug. 6 at the Istanbul Vodafone Park.

Besiktas Manager Senol Gunes on Wednesday said in a statement: "We have a highly disciplined team against us, so we should not take them lightly in any ways. We also want to make a positive start into the Europa League."
