Football: Results of top 4 European leagues

ANKARA (AA) - England's Liverpool, Spain's Real Madrid, Germany's Borussia Dortmund, and France's Olympique Lyon are in the top positions in their leagues.

In the English Premier League, Liverpool beat Southampton 2-1 to remain at the top spot with two wins in a row.

The runner-up Arsenal defeated Burnley 2-1 at home while Chelsea drew with Leicester City 1-1. Turkish player Caglar Soyuncu played 90 minutes for Leicester.

Last year's champion Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Tottenham.

The second week of Premier League will end with Wolverhampton-Manchester United match.

Germany's Bundesliga reigning champion Bayern Munich were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Hertha Berlin.

The runner-up of last season Borussia Dortmund defeated Augsburg 5-1 to win the first match.

In the Spanish La Liga, last year's champion Barcelona were defeated by Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in an away match.

Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 3-1 in Vigo; Atletico Madrid also beat Getafe 1-0 at Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

In France's Ligue 1, leader Olympique Lyon are top of the league with six points after beating Angers 6-0 to win all two matches.

Last year's champion of French League Paris Saint-Germain were defeated by Rennes 2-1 at an away match, while Nimes won against Nice 2 -1.

Olympique Lyon, Rennes and Nice have six points each.

Lille, with Turkish players; Mehmet Zeki Celik and Yusuf Yazici, were defeated by Aminens 1-0. For the first time, Yazici started in the first string.
