Football: Ziraat Turkish Cup round of 16 draw unveiled

Defending champions Galatasaray to face Caykur Rizespor in last 16 of Ziraat Turkish Cup

ANKARA (AA) - The Ziraat Turkish Cup round of 16 draw was held at the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) headquarters in Istanbul on Friday.

Antalyaspor, Aytemiz Alanyaspor, Besiktas, BtcTurk Yeni Malatyaspor, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Medipol Basaksehir and Trabzonspor were in the seeded clubs' pot.

The defending Turkish Cup champions Galatasaray will take on Caykur Rizespor while Fenerbahce will face Istikbal Mobilya Kayserispor for advancing to the quarterfinal.

In addition, Besiktas were paired with Buyuksehir Belediye Erzurumspor as Trabzonspor will take on Yukatel Denizlispor in the round of 16.

First leg matches are set for Jan. 14, 15 and 16 while the second legs are scheduled for Jan. 21, 22 and 23.

Round of 16 draw is as follows:

Medipol Basaksehir - GMG Kirklarelispor

Antalyaspor - Goztepe

Istikbal Mobilya Kayserispor - Fenerbahce

Caykur Rizespor - Galatasaray

Aytemiz Alanyaspor - Kasimpasa

Demir Grup Sivasspor - BtcTurk Yeni Malatyaspor

Buyuksehir Belediye Erzurumspor - Besiktas

Trabzonspor - Yukatel Denizlispor
