Germany beat Austria to advance to European Women's Championship semifinals
German football side to take on winner of France-Netherlands match in next stage

ISTANBUL (AA) - Germany booked a ticket to the European Women's Championship semifinals after a 2-0 win against Austria on Thursday.
Playing at Brentford Community Stadium in west London, the goals came from Lina Magull and Alexandra Popp respectively in the 25th and 90th minutes.
The German team will face the winner of the France-Netherlands match in the next stage.
