Ghana, Cuba sign agreement to renew health cooperation
Agreement allows Cuban medical professionals to provide health services in West African country, says Cuban embassy

ABUJA, Nigeria (AA) - Cuba and Ghana signed an agreement to renew medical cooperation between the two countries, the Cuban embassy said Wednesday.
According to a press release from the embassy in Ghana’s capital city Accra, the deal allows for the provision of health care services in Ghana by Cuban medical brigades.
The agreement was signed by Ghana’s Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu and Cuban Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne Gonzalez on behalf of Cuban Minister of Public Health Jose Angel Portal Miranda, the statement added.
