Goztepe beat Sivasspor 1-0 in Turkish Super Lig

Halil Akbunar's header secures win for visiting side at Yeni 4 Eylul stadium in Sivas

ISTANBUL (AA) - Goztepe defeated Demir Grup Sivasspor 1-0 Monday in the closing game of the Turkish Super Lig matchday 10.

Following a goalless first half at Yeni 4 Eylul stadium in Turkey’s Sivas province, Goztepe's Halil Akbunar scored the winner with a header in the 80th minute.

The visiting side jumped to eighth spot with 14 points, while the home side sits in 16th place with nine points.

In another match Monday, Hes Kablo Kayserispor were held to a 0-0 draw with Fatih Karagumruk at Kadir Has stadium in Kayseri.

With the score, Kayserispor are currently in 18th place with eight points while Fatih Karagumruk are in seventh spot with 14 points.
