Greek singer Vandi performs in NW Turkey

BURSA, Turkey (AA) - Greek singer Despina Vandi performed at an international music festival in Turkey's northwestern province of Bursa.

The 57th International Bursa Festival was organized by the Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Culture, Art and Tourism Foundation.

Vandi performed on Friday at the Culturepark Open Air Theater in northwestern Bursa province.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, she said Turkish and Greek music were similar.

"I like the music, its common, the folklore," she said.

The Greek singer added that she liked Turkish food and people.

Referring to a Turkish singer, she said: "I and Ziynet Sali had a concert together in Istanbul once. She is a nice person."
