Islamic Development Bank's annual meeting begins in Egypt

ISTANBUL (AA) - The annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group started in Egypt's Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh on Wednesday.

The four-day meeting under the main theme of "Beyond Recovery: Resilience and Sustainability" is being attended by ministers from 57 member countries and representatives of Islamic banks and financial institutions.

"The meeting will represent an opportunity to study and explore ways to further consolidate economic relations amongst IsDB Group member countries in today's changing world," the bank said.

Several topics, including digitalization, climate finance and fintech will be discussed in the meeting.

At sessions, experts, representatives and officials will share their opinions on the top items of the global agenda.
