Israeli army raids West Bank homes, clashes erupt
Israeli army moving into occupied West Bank cities and villages to crack down on Palestinian activists leads to clashes

RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - Clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the Israeli army on Wednesday in the city of Al-Bireh in the central occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli army moved into al-Bireh at dawn and raided a number of Palestinian homes, which led to clashes with Palestinian youths.
The Israeli army opened fire and used tear gas to disperse the Palestinians, who threw stones and Molotov cocktails.
Paramedics said they treated a number of injured Palestinians, most suffering from tear gas inhalation.
The Israeli army on a regular basis breaches Palestinian cities and villages in the occupied West Bank to arrest Palestinian popular activists.
