Israeli army accuses pair of attacking soldiers who were trying to arrest them

JERUSALEM (AA) - Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.
The military said the two armed Palestinians were detected at a checkpoint.
The pair opened fire on the soldiers, who were trying to arrest them, it said, adding they were neutralized by the soldiers.
Further details on the incident and the identities of the Palestinians were not shared.
