Kazakhstan passes referendum on constitutional reforms

ANKARA (AA) - Voters in Kazakhstan approved a referendum early Monday to overhaul the country’s constitution through reforms that seek a new governance model, Chinese news outlet CGTN reported, citing the Central Election Commission.

CGTN highlighted that the reform aims to decentralize decision-making and allow greater representation of various groups in parliament.
