ANKARA (AA) - The Kuwaiti Embassy in Ankara hosted a cultural fashion show Friday that was attended by the spouses of Turkish officials and the diplomatic circle.
Inspired by the popularity of Turkish television series, Raja Ahmad Al-Badr, one of the leading fashion designers in Kuwait, presented creations that blended traditional Turkish and Kuwaiti attire.
A total of 60 exclusively designed traditional dresses were displayed at the show, which is part of the embassy’s "Cultural Season in Turkey" event.
The event was attended by Emine Yıldız, the spouse of Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, and several other ambassadors in Ankara as well as their spouses.
Kuwait's embassy in Ankara is hosting a cultural program that began in December and will run until May. Besides the fashion show and an opera recital, there will be conferences, workshops, film festivals and a cuisine night.
