Latest vote count from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya and Diyarbakir

ANKARA (AA) - Here are the local election results updated as of 19.35 local Turkish time:

In capital Ankara, People's Alliance candidate Mehmet Ozhaseki is leading by a small margin. 34 percent of the ballot boxes opened as of 19.35 local time.

In Istanbul and Bursa, People's Alliance candidates Binali Yildirim and Alinur Aktas respectively look more comfortable.

In Izmir and Antalya, Nation's Alliance candidates are leading by small margins.

In Diyarbakir, HDP is leading.

Competing parties are the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party, the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Good (IYI) Party, and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).

Also taking part are the Independent Turkey Party (BTP), Grand Unity Party (BBP), Democrat Party (DP), Democratic Left Party (DSP), Saadet (Felicity) Party, Communist Party of Turkey (TKP), and Patriotic (Vatan) Party.
