Magnitude 6.6 earthquake jolts Indonesia
No fatalities or property damage have been reported

ANKARA (AA) – A magnitude 6.6 earthquake on the Richter Scale jolted the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Friday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 257 kilometers (nearly 160 miles) south of Sinaban, a town on the east coast of Simeulue Island, which lies off the western coast of Sumatra, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake originated at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), said USGS.
So far, no fatalities or property damage have been reported.
