July 1

- Iran breaches the 300-kilogram limit of low-level enriched uranium in the 2015 nuclear deal.

- Finland for the third time takes over the EU Presidency, which will last until the end of 2019.

- A missile which landed near a village in the Turkish Cypriot capital Lefkosa is believed to be a Russian S-200, a Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) official said.

- The foreign ministers of the U.K., Germany and France along with the European Union’s high representative issue a joint statement urging Iran to reverse its decision to breach a limit under a 2015 nuclear agreement.

- At least 60 people were killed after a crashed fuel tanker exploded in Benue State in northern Nigeria.

- Fighter jets linked to East Libya-based renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar strike a migrant center killing 53 people, including six children, and wounding 130.
