Nedim Ozbey to be brought to Turkey from Spain by air ambulance

ISTANBUL (AA) - The head coach of Turkey national men's volleyball team Nedim Ozbey, who was hospitalized in Spain, will be brought to Turkey, the country's Directorate of Communications said in a statement on Monday.
The air ambulance of Turkey's Health Ministry is expected to depart from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands of Spain at 2100GMT and land in Istanbul around 10 p.m local time (0100GMT Tuesday).
Ozbey, 65, who also has been serving for Galatasaray HDI Sigorta, was taken to the hospital because of his illness on Dec.16.
His treatment will be carried out in Turkey.
