NBA: Bucks latest victim of showstopper Mavericks

ANKARA (AA) - The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 120-116 on Monday night in the NBA to snap the home teams' 18-game winning streak.

Playing at Bucks' home Fiserv Forum, Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis and American point guard Seth Curry were influential in the Mavericks' victory, scoring 26 points each.

Dorian Finney-Smith produced 15 points and 8 rebounds while Jalen Brunson added 13 points in the win.

For home team, Giannis Antetokounmpo was the highest scorer of the game, producing 48 points, grabbing 14 rebounds but his efforts came up short.

Turkish international Ersan Ilyasova came off the bench to add 11 points for the Bucks.

Meanwhile, Dallas Mavericks played this match without Slovenian star Luka Doncic.

Doncic, 20, suffered a right ankle sprain injury on Sunday's game against Miami Heat.

Mavericks are the only team in this season to beat Western Conference leaders Los Angeles Lakers (24-3), title contenders Houston Rockets (18-9) and Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks (24-4) all together.

The Mavs, on a different note, lost to Knicks twice, who are currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 6-21 record.

- Rockets comeback 25 down, beat Spurs

The Houston Rockets came back from 25 down to beat the San Antonio Spurs 109-107 on Monday night, in the largest comeback in franchise history.

Russell Westbrook and James Harden combined for 59 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Spurs opened up a 25-point gap in the second quarter (65-40), but James Harden's buzzer beating three pointer ended the half for the Rockets on a high note (72-53).

The Rockets third quarter run in the beginning of the second half closed the gap, and then they managed to pull away the victory.

The Rockets improved to 18 wins and 9 losses, while Spurs dropped to 10 wins and 16 losses.
