ANKARA (AA) - Slovenian forward Luka Doncic put a sensational performance in a 117-110 Dallas Mavericks win over San Antonio Spurs late Monday.
Doncic maintained his impressive start to the 2019/2020 NBA season after he produced career-best 42 points with 11 rebounds and 12 assists at the American Airlines Center.
The 20-year-old player posted his sixth triple-double this season, scoring 3-pointer with 26.5 seconds left to end game to put his team up 115-10 over the Spurs.
Doncic also became the second player in NBA history being under 21 years old to post a 40-point triple-double.
LeBron James was the first to perform such statistic.
In addition to Doncic's historic performance for Dallas, Dorian Finney-Smith scored a career-high 22 points and Kristaps Porzingis posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
On the losing side, DeMar DeRozan recorded 36 points but his form could not avoid third consecutive loss for the Spurs.

In another Monday game, Milwaukee Bucks defeated Chicago Bulls 115-101 to have four-game winning streak.
The reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated the game with 33 points and 10 rebounds.
Daniel Gafford came off the bench to add 21 points, becoming the highest scorer for the Bulls.
