NBA Finals: Durant's heroics give Warriors 3-0 lead

ANKARA (AA) - The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-102 late Wednesday in the NBA Finals to take a commanding 3-0 lead.

Warriors' superstar Kevin Durant scored 43 points, including a clutch three-pointer with 50 seconds to go to give his team a six-point lead.

The match at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland was close throughout, as the Cavs managed to stay in front during the first half.

But the Warriors -- despite not shooting well from the three-point line -- used inside scoring to take the lead.

Durant added shot 6-for-9 from the three-point line, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 7 assists.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for only 21 points.

Cavaliers' superstar Lebron James continued his brilliant playoff run with a 33-point triple double, but the Cavs were still unable to defend their home court.

Kevin Love scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Rodney Hood chipped in with 15 points off the bench.

Game 4 will again be played at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (0100GMT Saturday).
