ANKARA (AA) - The Golden State Warriors managed to overcome double-digit deficit, injuries and defeat the Toronto Raptors on Sunday evening to tie the NBA Finals series at one-a-piece.

The Warriors defeated the Raptors 109-104, behind a big third quarter run and a big three-point shot by Andre Igoudala with 6 seconds to go in the game.

Despite trailing by more than ten points in the second quarter, the Warriors clawed their way back into the game after an 18-0 run at the beginning of the third quarter, not allowing the Raptors to score a single point for almost six minutes.

Klay Thompson, who suffered a left hamstring tightness, was the high scorer for his team with 25 points, while Stephen Curry added 23 points.

DeMarcus Cousins -- whom Steve Kerr started after a quad injury he suffered in the first round series against Los Angeles Clippers -- was a difference-maker as he logged 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.

Draymond Green was once again very productive as he flirted with a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists.

For the Raptors, Kawhi Leonard scored 34 points and grabbed 14 rebounds; while Fred VanVleet scored 17 points off the bench.

Game 1 hero for the Raptors, Pascal Siakam, was held to 12 points after a 32-point effort in the first match.

The series will now shift to Oakland for games 3 and 4.
