Nigeria says 200 bandits killed
Commander of some bandit groups among those killed, commissioner for local gov't and internal security says

KANO, Nigeria (AA) - Niger State government in North Central Nigeria said 200 bandits were killed during a clash with security operatives over the weekend.
Emmanuel Umar, commissioner for local government and internal security in Niger state, said this on Wednesday in Minna, the Niger capital.
According to Umar, the commanders of some bandit groups were among those killed by the security operatives.
