Italian team acquires Spanish winger from rivals Roma

ANKARA (AA) - Lazio announced Thursday that they transferred Spanish winger Pedro Rodriguez from rivals Roma.

The Italian team published a welcome message for 34-year-old on their official Twitter account.

The veteran winger played for big clubs like Barcelona, Chelsea and Roma through his career.

Pedro has an amazing trophy collection, including three UEFA Champions League titles in 2009, 2011 and 2015 and five La Liga titles in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 with Barcelona, one UEFA Europa League title in 2019 and one Premier League title in 2017 with Chelsea.

He also helped Spain win one World Cup title in 2010 and the European Championship title in 2012 with his 17 goals in 65 caps.

Lazio finished 6th in the 2020/2021 season of the Serie A with 68 points.
