Representatives gather in Tunisia for Mediterranean news agencies general assembly
Anadolu’s presence in Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies will contribute to media network, says Tunisian News Agency head

DJERBA, Tunisia (AA) - Representatives of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) gathered Wednesday on the Tunisian island of Djerba for the group’s 31st general assembly.
Anadolu’s project management coordinator Oguz Karakas attended the conference.
Tunisian News Agency General Manager Najeh Missaoui said his country follows Anadolu’s “great professionalism” in broadcasting news.
"Anadolu has a high level of professionalism at the level of news broadcasting and following developments. We have great respect for this professionalism and the journalism they do with very important techniques,” he said.
Anadolu’s presence in the alliance "will contribute to this media network,” he added.
AMAN was established in Tunisia in 1991 and includes Turkish, Libyan, Algerian, Egyptian, Syrian, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Lebanese, Tunisian, Palestinian, Greek, Southern Cyprus, Albanian, Serbian, Croatian, Mauritanian, and Moroccan news agencies.
