Say Cheese: Cow selfie with owner wins hearts

MUGLA, Türkiye (AA) - When a young Turkish woman asked a cow to pose for a selfie, she agreed. The moment was captured on video and shared countless times on social media.

Serife Yilmaz, a fifth year medical student at Pamukkale University, was playing with the animal at her family's farm in Seydikemer district of Türkiye's Mugla province.

"Meltem, let's take a selfie!" she calls out to the cow, who rushes toward her.

Yilmaz posted the video on social media and soon it became viral.

"I never expected the video to be viewed and liked so much. Within a day, millions of people watched it. I am both amazed and happy to see such a huge response. Whenever I call her for a photo, she comes willingly," Yilmaz told Anadolu.
