Serbia furniture, interior and decoration fair starts

BELGRADE, Serbia (AA) - The 57th International Furniture, Interior and Decoration Fair on Tuesday opened its door in Serbia's capital Belgrade on Tuesday.

The fair is considered as the most important event in Southeast Europe in furniture design, production and distribution.

This year, more than 500 exhibitors from 38 countries, including 11 exhibitors from Turkey are participating in the event.

The fair brings together reputable companies from this part of Europe and the world, focusing on new ideas, premieres, cutting edge designs, innovative technologies, quality and functional furniture of all kinds and purposes, as well as young generation designers from across the region.

Turkey, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Sweden, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia are participating.

The organizers of the fair announced that more than 85,000 people would visit the event over the six days, making Belgrade the undisputed fair center in this part of Europe.

The event will end on Nov. 10.
