Sivasspor seek 2nd win in Europa League

Turkish side to face Azerbaijan’s Qarabag in Istanbul's Fatih Terim Stadium on Thursday

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Super Lig club Demir Grup Sivasspor will take on Azerbaijan’s Qarabag in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

The Group I game will be played in Istanbul's Fatih Terim Stadium upon Qarabag's request due to a conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It will kick off at 1755GMT.

Sivasspor's seven players will miss the match after contracting coronavirus.

Qarabag are at the bottom of the table without any points, while Sivasspor seek their second win, currently ranked 3rd with three points.

Separately, Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv will host Spain's La Liga side Villarreal.

Villarreal lead the group with nine points, followed by Maccabi Tel Aviv with six.
