Soldier injured in SE Turkey clash
PKK terror group is suspected to be behind incident in southeastern Mardin province

MARDIN, Turkey (AA) - A soldier was shot and injured during an operation against PKK terrorists in southeastern Turkey's Mardin province on Sunday, according to a military source.
The operation to catch a group of terrorists who had escaped after blocking a road between Nusaybin and Midyat districts continues, the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.
The incident took place on the outskirts of Beyazsu neighborhood.
The soldier was sent to Nusaybin State Hospital for treatment.
