Spot market electricity prices for Monday, July 3

Energy Exchange Istanbul data on Sunday shows electricity market trade amounts to around $41.84M

ANKARA (AA) - The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,500 Turkish liras (around $96) at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,479.12 liras (about $57) at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), the data confirmed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 37% to around 1.09 billion liras ($41.84 million) compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,966.43 liras ($75) and 2,004.15 liras ($77), respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), and between 7 p.m and 9 p.m. (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 972.23 liras ($37) at 8 a.m. (0500 GMT), according to official figures.
