Sudan to reopen border with Eritrea: President Bashir
Sudan's eastern border will be opened again, President Omar al-Bashir says
KHARTOUM (AA) - Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir on Thursday announced that his government was reopening the country’s eastern border with Eritrea, state-run television reported.
The announcement came during al-Bashir’s address of his supporters in the eastern Sudan city of Kassala.
Describing the ties between the two countries as “relations of history, geography and blood”, Sudanese president thanked Eritrea.
