Tajikistan: No coronavirus cases in last 3 days

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (AA) - Tajikistan registered no new cases of the coronavirus in the last three days, according to the country's Health Ministry on Thursday.

Last Sunday, the Health Ministry reported three new coronavirus cases and the tally has not increased since.

So far, Tajikistan has reported a total of 13,308 COVID-19 infections, while 13,218 recovered and at least 90 people died due to the virus.

Globally, the pandemic has claimed more than 1.98 million lives in 191 countries and regions.

Over 92.4 million cases have been reported worldwide, with recoveries now over 51 million, according to figures compiled by the US' Johns Hopkins University.

The US, India, and Brazil remain the worst-hit countries in terms of cases.
